District Chair
Charles T. Brant, is a native of Savannah, Georgia, and a partner at the Colom and Brant Law Firm in Atlanta. Mr. Brant graduated from Morehouse College and received a commission in the United States Navy as an officer upon graduation. He served on active duty, and then attended and graduated from Mercer University's School of Law, in Macon, Georgia.
Mr. Brant worked for the City of Atlanta Public Defender 's Office for two years, and then opened his law practice in Atlanta in 1995.
Mr. Brant has been Vice Chair of the Minority Caucus of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also a member of the 100 Black Men of America. He has over 20 years of active reserve duty in the United States Navy as a naval intelligence specialist officer, holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Mr. Brant is also a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
